D.C Cross is an Australian musician, record producer and video maker from Western Sydney.  The founding vocalist and guitarist of indie rock group Gerling, Cross has released records under a variety of guises. As D.C Cross he has focused on instrumental folk guitar, which acts as a surrogate soundtrack to memories of his youth growing up in the Western Sydney suburb of Blacktown.

For Volume, D.C Cross will perform as part of the Strings program.
