Hiromi Miyakita is a Japanese performer and visual artist who explores the idea that any movement, even simple actions like standing, walking or sitting, can become dance, and that dance can be discovered through the objects and phenomena surrounding us. 

For Volume, Hiromi Miyakita will perform as part of the North and South program.
