Luke Currie-Richardson
Luke Currie-Richardson is a Kuku Yalanji, Djabugay, Mununjali, Butchella and Samsep Meriam storyteller who works across dance, poetry, fashion, music and film. A passionate collaborator, Luke has performed across the world, shining a light on life as a Blak man in contemporary so-called Australia, with the goal to make change and inspire his community. His sharp and powerful movement language grew from learning dance with the Gerib Sik Torres Strait Islander Dance Group with his family as a teenager.
For Volume, Luke Currie-Richardson will perform as part of the Moves program.
