Join artist-filmmaker Sam Smith for an in-depth conversation about his new Tank commission, A concave space, which is currently on display as part of Volume. This free, immersive experience explores the Tank’s material history as a Second World War oil bunker in light of fossil-fuelled environmental crisis.

Sam will be joined by Ruby Arrowsmith-Todd (curator of film) to discuss the process of translating this work (originally commissioned as part of the Art Gallery's Together In Art online project in 2020) from the digital sphere to the unique architectural environment of the Tank.
