Ellen Fullman is an American composer, instrument builder and performer who for over four decades, has maintained a singular focus on her project The Long String Instrument. The Long String Instrument is an installation of dozens of tuned strings 50 feet or more in length that have resonated within architectural spaces in festivals across the world. 

For Volume, Ellen Fullman will perform with Theresa Wong and present the work ‘Soundless’ at the Lawrence English (Room40) co-curated North and South program on Wednesday 27 September.
